The Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa is truly a masterpiece of hospitality and luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how incredibly warm and welcoming the entire staff was. Every interaction, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, was filled with genuine care and professionalism. The hotel manager was absolutely outstanding, personally ensuring that our stay exceeded every expectation and making us feel like truly valued guests. The restaurant staff were equally remarkable – every waiter went above and beyond, combining impeccable service with friendly smiles that made every meal feel like a special occasion. The rooms were breathtaking – spacious, beautifully designed, and outfitted with every comfort imaginable. They were the perfect sanctuary after long, activity-filled days. Speaking of activities, the private ski lift reserved exclusively for hotel guests was a standout feature. It whisked us up to an incredible ski and sledding area with panoramic views, complete with a fun bar and delicious restaurants at the top. This convenience and exclusivity made our ski experience absolutely seamless and unforgettable. The dining at Tschuggen Grand was a feast for the senses. Every meal was a testament to culinary artistry, and the attentive restaurant team made each experience feel personalized and indulgent. Whether it was a perfectly cooked dish or a thoughtful wine pairing, they ensured we felt cared for with every bite. We were also blown away by the array of activities offered by the hotel. From an invigorating snow hike to a serene snow yoga session, a cold water plunge in a pristine mountain lake, and dynamic workout classes, every experience was made unforgettable by Nikolaos, our incredible guide and instructor. His energy, expertise, and passion for what he does brought each activity to life, leaving us inspired and energized. The spa was simply stunning – a haven of modern design and tranquility. Every moment spent there was rejuvenating, and it’s easily one of the most beautiful spas we’ve ever experienced. Every detail of our stay was meticulously thought out, and the exceptional staff elevated it to a whole new level. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience of pure luxury, warmth, and adventure. We cannot wait to return to this magical oasis in the heart of the Alps!

Kicking a whole family in the middle of the night including 3 children and a sick person, put cold in Minus 13 degrees! Nothing justifies this behavior. Horrible treatment this is inhumane!!!! Stay away or god forbid the manager will wake up on his bad side and decide to do this to you as well!!!

Such an awful service!! Is this really 5 stars? I would give it 2 at most. The staff was indifferent and unhelpful from the moment we checked in. I can’t believe this place is marketed as a luxury hotel. It felt more like a poorly managed 2-star property. Save your money and book somewhere else!

This is a pricey hotel, and it is worth every penny. Efficiently managed, with friendly, efficient staff, everything is impeccably maintained at all levels and all areas, meaning every room and element one comes across looks great and is immaculately clean. The rooms are beautifully, aesthetically designed, but also highly efficient and practical. The Spa is world-beating, truly best-in-class, and having a ski lift (plus ski rental) in the hotel is, obviously, kind of mind-blowing. The only (minor) off note was a rude maitre in the main restaurant, but he can be overlooked. If you want to splash out, do it somewhere like this, where you feel that every franc you spend is going into a wonderful overall experience.

This is our third visit to the lovely Tschuggen hotel, it really is an incredible place. It’s cosy, has an amazing calm and family feel about it, the staff are amazing, it’s just quality. The spa is truly amazing, the two Saunas and Steam are fantastic. Breakfast is equally a delight, so much on offer at the buffet. Plus even more such as french toast, pancakes, crepes etc on the main menu. Yes it’s expensive but it’s worth it and we will definitely be back again. Don’t change a thing and keep up the great work.
